Who we are
The International Christian Growth Foundation is a non-denominational and para-church Christian organization committed to equipping God’s people for service and building the Body. The organization has pursued its vision through three tiers of operation since 2002: (1) Theological Education/Ministerial Training, (2) Mission/Rural Outreach, and (3) Biblical Counseling. The organization is in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
WHAT WE DO
We Train
The Fountain Bible Institute is the training arm of The International Christian Growth Foundation. We train Christian workers/Christian Leaders in Biblical theology, biblical counseling, and ministerial courses.
FBI programmes include:
▪ Bachelor in Biblical Theology
▪ Bachelor Biblical Counseling
▪ Diploma in Theology
▪ Diploma in Biblical Counselling
▪ Certificate in Christian Ministry
Fountain Bible Institute is affiliated with Therapon University, St. Thomas, Virgin Island, U.S.A. The institute’s programmes operate part-time. Also, the institute coordinates the Preachers’ Help Correspondence Course for pastors and missionaries in rural areas.
We have trained over fifty Christian leaders in the past years and had two successful convocations.

Missions/Evangelistic Outreach
Evangelistic Outreaches:
The ministry has engaged in rural evangelistic and free medical outreaches for over fifteen years in Ogoniland, Rivers State, Nigeria. Some youths have also benefitted from the skill acquisition programme.
Mission:
Our missionary thrust is ongoing at Ofegun, Iwajowa Local Government, Oyo State. The mission work includes evangelical and educational missions
Education Mission: The school serves the purposes of formal education for the children, evangelism, and discipleship. The school lays a robust intellectual, moral, and spiritual foundation for the children as they mature into adulthood.
Evangelism/ Discipleship: The evangelism thrust focuses on grassroots evangelism/discipleship, which targets the indigenes who are Muslims, the non-indigenes in transit, nominal Christians, and traditional worshippers.

Innocent C. Okonkwo, BTh, MThBC
Innocent Okonkwo is the Co-Ordinator of The International Christian Growth Foundation – a non- denominational and para-church ministry, which is committed to Training, Missions and Prayer Network. He is also a lecturer at Fountain Bible Institute, a school that is associated with Therapon University, and the training arm of The International Christian Growth Foundation.
Innocent obtained a Diploma In Missions from PFM School of Missions, Nigeria; non – degree theological studies at George Whitefield College Muizenberg, South Africa and Bible Institute of South Africa. He also earned his degree in Bachelor of Biblical Theology from Therapon University. He is happily married to Oluwakemi Okonkwo and blessed with two lovely children.
Oluwakemi G. Okonkwo, MTh, DMin
Oluwakemi Okonkwo is the Principal of Fountain Bible Institute, a school that is associated with Therapon University, and the training arm of The International Christian Growth Foundation; a non – denominational and para – church ministry that is committed to Training, Missions, and Prayer Network.
Oluwakemi is the author of ‘Day by Day with Jesus’, the bi- annual devotional of ‘The International Christian Growth Foundation’. She has a Bachelor of Biblical Theology and Masters of Theology in Biblical Theology from Therapon University, where she is currently doing a program in Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Counseling. She is also doing a second Master degree in Masters of Art in Bible and Theology at Worldwide Evangelical Seminary, Canada. She is happily married to Innocent Okonkwo and blessed with two lovely children. She is based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
